- Start the Outlook app.
- Select the menu icon
- Tap on the Settings.
- Tap the account you would like to remove/delete.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Tap Delete.
- Fully quit the application.
How To Delete Microsoft Account in Android Mobile/ios iphone-Permanently Close Your Outlook
log in to your Outlook account in Settings. Touch Mail to open the app and sign in with your Microsoft Account (email address).
Touch Menu key > Settings > Accounts > Delete.
Select an account that you want to remove then touch the Delete Account button. To choose all accounts, simply touch the MORE icon and select ALL FROM ACCOUNTS page > tick the check box next to each account that you wish to remove it (as shown below) then click the DELETE APPLICATIONS button at the bottom of the screen and confirm by tapping YES button on the pop-up window. You will see a confirmation message when you successfully deleted your Outlook account on your Android phone or tablet.
After you deleted your account, click Return to inbox button on the top of the Outlook app page to return to Inbox.
Touch Menu key and select Settings > Accounts > Restore removed account option (as shown below) then enter a password for the email account that you have deleted earlier in step 3 and tap ADD ACCOUNT button.
NOTE: Restoring the account will bring back all emails from your account into the Outlook app’s main screen as new message notifications (read/unread status). You can touch any unread message notification to open it in your email program or reply to existing messages right from the pop-up window without opening the mail client itself.

To delete an account, open the app and go to Settings. Tap on X: Personal Data > Accounts > Removing Account from Device or Remote Storage.

If you remove an account from Microsoft Outlook and Windows Mail, your access to that account will be revoked in those programs as well as any locally stored data. Your profile won’t be deleted or messages in it deleted; however, the only way to regain access is if the email server has been configured to give you another password for that address.
