First, to delete a page you must simply visit the Facebook for Business website. Head over to https://business.facebook.com/pages/create/. While logged in to your personal account, click on “Pages” located in the top menu bar and select “Create a Page” from the drop down list. To create a business page, select “Local Business or Place” from the list of options presented and complete the simple form that follows. Next, enter your page name and category information along with any other optional details you wish to share before confirming that you understand terms and conditions by checking the box at end of this section. You can also choose to upload images or videos from your computer or phone as part of your page creation.
Once you are happy with the business information, press “Create Page” to begin your journey towards receiving “Likes” for your new Facebook business page. To delete a Facebook page, return to the main menu and choose “Manage” beside the option labeled “Pages”. Next, switch over to the tab that reads “All Pages” and click anywhere within this section followed by your business page name in order to select it. After you have selected the correct page, simply choose ‘Delete Page’ from the list of options presented on screen along with an explanation as to why you wish to delete this particular fanpage. A pop up window will ask you one final time if you are sure that this is what you wish to do, and after clicking “Okay” your page will officially be gone from Facebook forever.
Unfortunately, there is no “one click” button to delete a Facebook account. I guess the majority of us are aware that in order to remove your Facebook timeline you need to go through several steps, which include ‘deactivating’ or deleting your account. But do you know what it takes in order for Facebook support staff to actually remove your data from their servers? The answer might surprise you! It’s surprisingly simple – once they receive an automated request from the primary user (the one who started the page) they can then proceed with removing all traces of that page/account/username etc., only if it has been less than 30 days since it was created. Otherwise, in case it has been more than 30 days and the page still exists, you will need to fill out an official request (called a “content removal” form) along with your password and your account’s username. Once this is submitted to the Facebook team they will be forced to delete all of your data! Simply send them an email or use their contact forms.
