Did Monkey app shut down? – [Answer] 2022

Answer

Nickelodeon announced that Monkey Quest would be shutting down on September 26, 2014. After 4 years of operation, every player was given membership for the remaining time of the game.

You Can NOW Get MONKEY APP on iOS! (How to Download)

Sign in to Monkey app anymore, received the following message upon login:

“Oops! We can’t find that. Either you are not signed in or we can’t identify what you’re looking for.”

It is because of their recent update. They changed a lot on the backend, and it seems they were unable to get it ready to handle new users at the same time. I think they will figure this out eventually, but if anyone knows a fix (on which browser/device), please let us know and we will update accordingly on this post. Thanks!

I am having the same problem as mgdpjonesx!!! It says “oops! We can’t find that either you are not signed in or we can’t identify what you’re looking for. ” HELP!

I really want to join but I don’t know how when it doesn’t even recognize the app anymore

Go under the main login screen, click on ‘forgot password’, and then follow the emails from there. It should work fine from there. Hope that helps.

Why Did Monkey Quest Shut Down?

This app gives away free points (and sometimes other goodies) to Yo-Kai Watch players who have linked their Nintendo ID and Play-Asia accounts. You’ll need to log in through your Nintendo ID each time you use this app, so if you haven’t done that yet here’s a link: https://signup.nintendo.com/EasySignUp?entryCode=pxt3f9P

If you don’t have a Play-Asia account, that’s no problem! All you need is an email address. Here’s a link to sign up: https://www.play-asia.com/paOS-go1/5AC9G-6E4VX9971I2S/?hl=en

If you’re not able to log in and instead see “oops! We can’t find that either you’re not signed in or we can’t identify what you’re looking for.”, try signing out of your Nintendo ID and then signing back in–that usually fixes the issue (for me it works every time). If it doesn’t work the first time, try rebooting your phone/tablet or trying again in a few minutes.

To redeem points on Play-Asia, you’ll need to create an account with them (it’s free). Once that’s done, go to the “codes” section of their site and enter the code you’d like to redeem. It should then show up as being redeemed within 24 hours! You can buy anything that’s $25 or less with points and will receive free shipping if it’s over $25. If something costs more than 6K points, they’ll pay for half of it! Ex: if something costs 8K points, they’ll pay 4K.

If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to hit up me or Dannie on the Yo-Kai Watch Discord server: https://discord.gg/0uw6ns4JQY1rZ8Ii

Note: You can only get codes once every week, so if you have multiple Play-Asia accounts they won’t stick together and you should use one at a time. Also, note that Amazon gift cards are region locked (which means they can’t be redeemed outside of where it was purchased). Some people couldn’t redeem their points because of that; unfortunately, we don’t really have an answer for this problem other than trying again in a few months.

UPDATE 12/6/16: The monkey app should now be working for most users! I’ve personally tested it on Firefox and Chrome and haven’t had any issues. For those of you who still can’t access the monkey app, let us know in the comments below or better yet try signing out of your Nintendo account (the “sign-in” link at the top right of the screen) and then trying again–sometimes that works too

I’m sure some of you are wondering what this website is so here’s a quick explanation! The Yo-Kai Watch community has become pretty big over the past few months as there was no official way to check if someones playing legit or not aside from guessing by their playtime or looking into their medal history. This website came about from a collaboration between the moderators of the Yo-Kai Watch discord server (https://discord.gg/0uw6ns4JQY1rZ8Ii). We wanted a simple yet elegant way to tell people whether or not someone’s playing legit, and so we made this!

How does it work you ask? Well basically when you load up this site in your browser, it checks all of your medals against our database to see if they’re in order; if they are (or don’t exist at all), then that means you’re legit and get rewarded with points on Play-Asia (you can also look up other player’s profiles as well). Points can be redeemed for free $$$ on Play-Asia, and they’re rewarded for going legit!

Note: This site is in no way affiliated with Inafune or Level-5. We are not responsible for any loss of points by using this website, but if you do have any issues please let us know down below. If you want to talk Yo-Kai Watch tips/thoughts/feelings then come join the Discord server here: https://discord.gg/0uw6ns4JQY1rZ8Ii (also, if anyone has a better icon than my terrible photoshopping skills feel free to submit one–I’m pretty bad at art!).
