By selecting “Cancel my Venmo Account” at the bottom of your Profile screen when logged in from a computer, you can cancel your Venmo account. You may not currently terminate your account using the mobile app.

How To Delete Your Venmo Account
Deactivating your Venmo account means that you’ll need to move any money in your Venmo balance to a bank account before deleting your account, or give the funds back to the sender. Any money left in your Venmo account at the time it is closed will not be accessible to you unless you contact them again.
You may not be familiar with the term “temporary phone number,” but it refers to a service that allows you to use the same phone number for two distinct Venmo accounts. The DoNotPay app and Receive SMS website, as previously stated, are both options.
You cannot remove transactions from your Venmo account, but you can make them private. Go to “Settings” and then to “Privacy.” So the transaction will only show on yourself and the person you sent the money to.
You can’t delete transactions on Venmo. You may, however, make them private. Log into your account and go to “Settings.” This allows you to access the “Privacy” part of your account. Then, change your preferences as desired.
Visit the official Venmo website to update your profile. Click on “Sign in” and then input your old phone number, email address, or username, and password. After you’ve signed in, click the “Edit profile” button in the top right corner, next to your avatar. Delete your old mobile phone number by tapping on the box beneath
Simply enter your email address or phone number and hit “Send.” Tap or click the link in the email you received. Create a new password (between 8 and 32 characters long) and login.
