If you try to launch the game without origin it will download an update so if you don\u2019t plan on playing for a while I would recommend pausing updates in origin. It might be a good idea to backup your documents folder just in case something goes wrong. Another thing to remember is that if you do delete origin, your game will run in offline mode which means you can\u2019t access online Sims 4 content with that account. If you already own all the packs then there\u2019s no reason to keep origin on your computer so it doesn\u2019t hurt to back up documents before deleting. To completely remove origin use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.<\/p>\n<p>Note: I would uninstall origin through Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel, not by downloading the standalone offline installer.
