In fact, I\u2019ll even go through all the steps for you step by step! Read on\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step One:<\/strong> Go to icloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID. If you have two-step authentication turned on, use the secondary password associated with your Apple ID.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step Two:<\/strong> Once signed in, click on the \u201cFind iPhone\u201d button. This will load a page that shows all of your iOS devices registered with iCloud. Find the device you\u2019d like to erase from this list, then click on it to open its details page. At the bottom of this screen there is a \u201cDelete [device] from My iCloud\u201d option \u2013 click on that! Note: If you\u2019re having trouble finding this option please refer here for more information. *You can only delete a Device from My iCloud if it\u2019s been offline for at least 365 days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step Three:<\/strong> You will now be prompted to enter your iCloud password and then click the \u201cDelete\u201d button again. Note: The information displayed on this screen (like device picture, name etc)<a href=\"how-do-i-remove-a-device-from-my-apple-account\/\"> can differ from what you see on your actual device because it\u2019s cached on Apple\u2019s servers<\/a>. Don\u2019t worry\u2026this has nothing to do with your personal data! Once you delete a Device from My iCloud it is permanently removed from the Find iPhone tool as well so there\u2019s no way of undoing this action if you change your mind \u2013 think carefully before proceeding! If you want to stop here just hit cancel at the bottom of the page instead of clicking on Delete once more  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Step Four:<\/strong> This is the final confirmation screen! If you\u2019re sure that this is what you want to do, click on Delete again. You\u2019ll get a popup that asks \u201cBefore deleting this device from iCloud are you sure you have unpaired your Apple Watch?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If so simply select No and hit Delete once more in order to remove your Device from My iCloud successfully.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: If you\u2019ve never paired an Apple Watch or it\u2019s been disconnected from your iPhone for more than two months then it will not be displayed here at all \u2013 sorry for any confusion!<\/p>\n<div class=\"schema-faq wp-block-yoast-faq-block\">\n<div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1623912670644\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">How long does this process take?<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">The length of time varies depending on how much content was stored within the device but usually takes less than an hour for a 16GB device.
