Find missing email in Yahoo Mail
Other than your Inbox, our spam filter and email filters can send incoming email to folders other than your Inbox. Locate them using our simple or advanced search tools – Find misplaced emails using our basic or advanced search features. These folders don’t show in search results. They must be checked manually.
Go to the Yahoo account recovery page if you believe your Yahoo Mail account has been deleted. Enter your Yahoo email address in the Email address or phone number field, then click Continue. You’ll see Sorry, we don’t recognize that email address or phone number if your account was permanently deleted.
Step 1: Collect all of the mails you received during the previous day and manually or automatically send them to another email address. Otherwise, the communications will be lost for good. It’s quite unlikely you’ll be able to recover something deleted more than 30 days ago; Gmail doesn’t provide any method for it. You can contact the person who sent you an email and see whether they still have it. If it’s a message you sent to someone, you can inquire whether they saved a copy.
If the emails you received 10 years ago have been deleted within the past 5 days, you can recover them. Emails that were lost or deleted more than 5 days ago are already purged from the servers.
It’s important to note that even if a message has been permanently deleted from the Trash folder, it may still be recovered. When requested, Yahoo attempts to return your entire email account back to an earlier date within the last seven days, potentially restoring emails that would otherwise be lost.
