I was recently inspired to take a look at credit scores after I found out my partner was denied a travel visa due to poor credit. It turns out his score is pretty low, and he doesn’t understand why. He has zero delinquencies on his record and it’s been years since any late payments or other negative marks have appeared on his credit reports. He does have a few hard inquiries on his TransUnion credit report, but it really doesn’t make sense to me why he wouldn’t be eligible for the best travel visa program offered by our government.
