How do I remove a local account from my laptop?
To remove a local account from your laptop, please do the following:
1. Click on the Start menu.
2. Select Control Panel and then choose User Accounts. You can also click on the Windows icon (found at the bottom left of the screen) >> Settings>> Control Panel>> User Accounts. The two links will take you to this location in two different ways. One way is more user-friendly than the other so depending on how comfortable you are with using computers, try both methods to find one that works best for you! Note: On some laptops, users may see “Windows Security Center” or “Security Center”. This is just another name for Control Panel.
3. Next, select Remove a User or turn off the account for a current user. You may need to choose a different option if you are not working with local accounts.
4. Click on “Remove or turn off an account” and then choose your username from the dropdown menu . You will see that your name is listed there since you’re logged in right now! (Note: It does not matter what name it says under ‘username’ as long as it’s one of the ones listed.)
5. Next, click on “Turn Off Account”. Finally…you’re done! Your laptop is no longer using this account. Please know that when you log back into your computer, which should be soon if you just started reading this article because I read slow, you will have a new default account. So, to determine what user is currently logged in from any screen press the Windows key (found on bottom left of keyboard) and then hit the ‘R’ key. This opens an application called “Run” that enables users to type commands to open programs or documents for which they know the path. When you see this command box come up, at the lower left hand side of your screen you should see something like “Jill’s Laptop” if you are inside my account. If I exit my account and try logging back in as myself it will say “User1”. Don’t let these names confuse you! They just differ depending upon where you are in relation to them right now. The most important thing here is to see if you can locate the name of the account in which you are trying to remove. If it says “User2” and you want to find out what User1 is, simply type “net user 1” into Run. This will provide you with that information right before your eyes! You just need to know how or where to look for this information!

The Little Girl Who Lived Under the Sea (1974) is a compilation of short stories by Australian author Steele Rudd, who is better known for his character “Chuckles”.
The literary value of Rudd’s works has been criticized as poor.
Rudd was famous in Australia when this book first appeared in the early 1930s. Only part of one story (“The Unlucky Mascot”) had been previously published, and two others (“The Mysterious Fisherman” and “Digger and His Dog”) are told from an Aboriginal point of view rather than that characteristic of Rudd’s usual characters. Brief biographical sketches appear before each story. This collection presents typical Rudd characters as they encounter a wide variety of other people and situations, frequently finding themselves in difficult but amusing confrontations.
A later collection with the same title (and a similar cover) was published by the Steele Rudd Society in 1998.

Signing into a Microsoft account is required to delete your local account. Select your name on the Start screen and go to Change Account Settings. When you land on Your Info page, select the account you want to delete and choose Remove.
