To update your list of inmates with your Connect Network account, sign in and click “My Inmates” on the left menu. You can remove an inmate from within this page by clicking the button or search for a new inmate to add using the search function.

Step # remove an inmate from Connect Network: To remove an inmate, find the inmate in the Connect Network list. Click on “Administration” and then click on “Remove individual” to remove them permanently or just until their sentence term is over. Select a reason for removal – this will help reduce confusion about why they were removed when you come back to review your account later.
If the person has been released, wait at least one week before removing them so that we have confirmed that they are no longer incarcerated in any other facility- if not found after seven days of release date search, please email customer service for more information. If the person was transferred to another facility or institution within our system by court order, contact customer service for assistance.

The inmateConnect Network team offers information, resources and referrals for families at every step of an inmate’s incarceration process. Our goal is to improve communication between inmates and their loved ones so they can stay connected during this difficult time.
At inmateConnect Network, we understand how isolating it can be when you’re out of the workforce or job market because your parent has been incarcerated. That’s why our trained volunteer staff provide meal delivery services to help with food insecurity; connections with community agencies like public defenders (a lawyer), health care providers, substance abuse counseling programs, etc.; trainings on topics including parenting skills after parental incarceration, managing money and stress management; education on inmate rights and responsibilities under the law.

Visitors are often shocked by how much we have to offer in terms of resources! We also provide vocational trainings through Americorps that include resume building workshops which helps them prepare for life after prison release. One participant was able to secure an apprenticeship through inmateConnect, which will enable him to find a job after his release.

PREX is designed for those seeking information on how to manage their relationships with incarcerated family members; it helps them identify key resources, understand what has changed since they last saw prisoners and offers strategies for easing tension during visits.
The inmate’s loved one team currently includes a reentry specialist, volunteer coordinator/parent program liaison, mental health professional (CMHP), vocational training instructor (Americorps).
