Delete people on Edmodo follow the instructions below:
- Click the “Manage” tab in the upper Admin Panel.
- Then click “Members” underneath it.
- Locate the teacher that you would like to remove from the list of teachers, and select the checkbox next to their name.

Okay, we all know that we’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover and that looks can be deceiving. But in the case of Edmodo, it seems like you CAN judge a book by its cover after all! I mean, if you see someone’s profile picture and they look really dumb or ugly… well… you’re probably going to think their posts are stupid too. And if they have no friends on Edmodo? Well, then how could any of them possibly be smart or interesting?! The moral here is: If somebody has an ugly picture as their profile pic on social media, just delete ’em already because chances are your entire feed will start looking bad!
Similarly, if somebody has an awesome picture as their profile pic on social media, then all of a sudden your friends may start looking like billionaires and you’ll probably feel like such a jerk. (Don’t worry… they’re not actually rich.)
See what we mean? It’s really simple: If somebody looks bad on Edmodo it will make you look bad and nobody wants that. You don’t want people to think you or them are dumb! Facebook is Facebook and LinkedIn is LinkedIn and Instagram is Instagram and Twitter is Twitter but Edmodo is for KIDS! Keep that in mind always – especially when looking at profile pictures. Just saying “Oh no, my feed got full of ugly pictures” isn’t good enough. That’s not the kind of legacy you want to leave behind!
Then go into Google Sites and select Manage > Members. Filter your Organization’s members by kind of account: Teachers, Students, and Admins. Select the member’s name and check the box to the left of him/her. In the upper-right corner of the Members list, click Remove.
As a teacher, you have the option of deleting any student account from a group that you control. Simply fill out the form by selecting Wrong Account Type / Deactivating an Account and providing Delete Student Account as the subject.
In the top toolbar, click your Profile Picture. Click Settings in the drop-down menu. Select Deactivate Your Account from the list at the bottom of the page. You’ll be asked to verify your password > Deactivate it.
From the left side panel, go to Class/Group. On the right side of the center information screen, click More. Select Advanced Settings from the drop-down menu. Select Archive > Yes from the drop-down menu.
Yes! Simply hover over the student’s name on the right side of the screen, click the “gear” icon that appears, and then select “Delete.” For additional information, see here.
To delete your Edmodo account, you must send a deletion request from a computer browser. You cannot remove your account from the app on a mobile device. Please note that to begin the process of deleting your account, you must first go to the account settings page and ensure that an email address is linked with it.
