How to TURN OFF Parental Controls WITHOUT pin

In order to turn parental controls off, you need to access the Parental Controls Passcode option in the Settings app. This is available on devices running iOS 9 or later.

If your family members use Family Sharing, managing their media and app purchases is as easy as being part of a family group with them on Apple devices that are signed in with the same iCloud account. When an item is bought or downloaded, it’s automatically approved for all other family members’ devices. By default, the family organizer needs to approve all purchases for other members of their Family Sharing group on an individual basis (this is similar to setting up restrictions). You can turn off Family Purchase Requests to disable your approval from being required when a family member wants to make an in-app purchase.

If your child’s age is set to 13 or under and you have turned off Parental Controls on any of your devices: Go to Settings > General > Restrictions and enter their Apple ID password > Turn off Ask for Password (you might need to sign in) then click Done at the top right corner. Yes, it’s possible to set restrictions on the volume level of explicit music and audiobooks purchased from the iTunes Store. Volume Limit can be turned on separately from Parental Controls. When you turn on Volume Limit in the Restrictions settings, there is a grayed-out option for setting an age limit for explicit content that cannot be changed. If no age is set in this restriction or if Parental Controls are not enabled at all after turning on Volume Limit, explicit songs will play at full volume when they’re first played or streamed. Explicit tracks must be played once before this restriction takes effect. Subsequent plays of those songs may require parent approval until your child turns 18 years old or raises their Apple ID account’s age to 18 years old. Remove explicit songs from your music library by turning off explicit in iTunes Match, then select the tracks you’d like to delete and choose Delete Song from the File menu.
