- Open your Google Account. You might need to sign in.

Open the Settings app on your phone. Select Accounts from the Menu button to open it. If you don’t see “Accounts,” click Users & accounts instead. Tap the account you want to delete. Delete the account. For security, if this is the only Google Account on your phone, you’ll need to provide your phone’s pattern, PIN, or password.
Sign in to your Gmail account on Google.com. Select “Account” from the grid icon in the upper right-hand corner. Click “Delete My Account or Services” under the “Account preferences” section. Select “Delete products.” At the password prompt, type it in.

Open the mobile app on your iPhone or Android device. To discover the Delete Account option at the bottom of the App Settings page, log in and go to App Settings. Then choose it and confirm your decision. The data and matches are removed from the system.
