Remove a Gmail account from my Windows 10 laptop follow the instructions below:
- Open Settings.
- Click on Accounts.
- Click on Email & accounts.
- Select the account that you’re planning to remove.
- Click the Manage button.
- Click the Delete account from this device option.
- Click the Delete button.

If you want to remove a Gmail account from your Windows 10 laptop, it can be done with just a few clicks.
Just open the Settings app and select Accounts > Sign-in options > Add or remove accounts. Then click on the email address that has the Gmail account you want to delete and then click Remove. You should know that this will permanently delete all of your data for that email address and if you have other Google services linked to this account, they’ll also get deleted as well. So make sure you do not need anything before proceeding. Once this is completed, go back to Settings and click on Apps & features; find Gmail (or whichever app was removed) in the list of apps; right-click it; and select Uninstall.
Note that this will get rid of the app but your account still won’t be deleted. To complete the process you need to delete it from your Google Account, so go to www.google.com/accounts and sign in if necessary. Click on Data & personalization; click on Delete your account or services; scroll down until you see Android and then click Delete products; select Gmail under Email, contacts, calendar & other apps (for other Google Services you might have) then click Delete to continue with the deletion process. You should know that this will take several minutes to complete and it varies depending on what kind of account you are deleting, but you should receive an email when it is done to confirm the deletion.
If you want to use Gmail again later on, just go back to www.google.com/accounts and sign in with your email address and password; then click on Accounts > Google products > Gmail > Create Account. Enter the same details as before (e-mail address, password etc.) but make sure that you select Forget account info for this computer next time when prompted or you won’t be able to log into this account it with any other device without signing up for a new account first.
Download your data after canceling your Gmail service. Go to your Google Account. Select Data & privacy from the left-hand menu.
