Answer
- Go to the Skype and sign in page.
- Select More.
- Select Forgot my username.
- You’ll be asked to either enter a phone number or an alternate email associated with your Microsoft account.
- We’ll send a security code to the phone number or email you used.
How To Recover Skype Account
You need to be signed in with a Microsoft Account. If you are not, sign into your Microsoft Account using your Hotmail/Live ID or create one.
Select ‘continue, I agree’ on bottom of the page for terms of service agreement if already accepted them before
Now you need to enter previous email address associated with the deleted skype account (check email inbox as it may have been sent within 5 minutes) . Try checking junk folder also just in case! If you don’t get an email after 15 minutes, this means that the recovery email was not recovered so we’ll need to go on and register a new skype account.
You will then enter your current, valid phone number associated with the Microsoft Account (if you have one) . If you don’t have a mobile phone number, create a new Skype account using your mobile number as your username..
Once you’re done entering all the details, and entered them correctly (typing in correct values), click ‘continue’ on bottom of page. After doing this, you will be logged into an inactive session of your old Skype accounts… but don’t worry! The account is still there . Log out again by clicking on top right hand side button “log out”. You’ll then be left with your old account in a limbo state. However, you’ve successfully managed to recover it

After our failure with Plazes we decided to try an app called Truemessenger. This was a SMS app which used open data sources from Nokia and others to provide spam protection (By looking at the last 5 digits reported by other users). We developed this as far as we could but eventually ran out of money, so we spent our last remaining reserves on buying the Truecaller.com domain name in December 2009. At that time there were already several sites registered under this name so we had to buy them all up before purchasing True

Sign out of TrueCaller by clicking the Settings icon. Select ‘Account Info’ and select “More Options.” Select ‘Sign Out’ to finish your signout process from TrueCaller
Access the Skype website and type in your email address, then click ‘Continue‘. Now you’ll be able to sign back into all of your other accounts.
Type %appdata%Skype into Windows Search bar and press Enter.There should be a folder named after your Skype name, open it up you’ll find the main.db file which has all your chat history in it
If you’re having problems signing in, first make sure you’re using the latest version of Skype. Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements for running Skype and that you have all necessary updates installed.
If you are not currently signed in to Skype, click the Contacts option under the Call Phone tab on the main screen. View your conversations by clicking a contact and selecting Conversations view from the drop-down menu. If you want to clear all of your history, click Settings at the top left corner and then Clear chat history on it’s right side. Plan ahead before making or returning calls with Skype; call waiting can become an issue if both parties are logged into their Skype accounts.
