If you’ve already migrated your old Minecraft account, the username is used to log in. To reset a password for a Minecraft account (you login with your username), go to account.mojang.com/migrate and convert it to a Mojang account. You’ll be able to change your password after that.

How to migrate from a Minecraft premium account to a Mojang account
If you lost access to your old Minecraft accounts, you’ll need to log in using your username and password. You will be prompted to migrate your account to a Mojang one after logging in with your username and password. You’ll receive a notification requesting that you submit an email address where you can be sent a link to the password reset page if you upgrade your account from one managed by Mojang.
It’s impossible to remove a user’s account. Someone probably hacked your simple password (ex. 123 or password) if you did so. It’s also possible that your Minecraft account was moved to a Mojang account, preventing you from logging in.
