How To Deactivate Dropbox Account
Go to https://www.dropbox.com/admin with your admin credentials and log in. Click Admin Console in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Select the Members option from the drop-down menu next to a member’s name. Delete that person by clicking Remove member under Tools menu options. Instead, click Convert to Individual Dropbox Basic Account if you want them removed from your account permanently instead of just being terminated for security reasons or deleted manually like other accounts are dropped into Basic accounts (which is what they’re assigned).
Dropbox Basic is a completely free service with the fewest capabilities and storage capacity. Dropbox Plus is the next step up, offering 1TB of storage for a modest monthly cost.
Open the Dropbox app on your mobile device. In the bottom right corner, tap Account. Manage Your Subscription should be selected. Tap How to Cancel in order to cancel your subscription.
It’s easy to sync your files between devices, computers, phones, and tablets with Dropbox Basic: Simply go to dropbox.com on any browser or download the Dropbox app for free to access all of your data from anywhere.
On the Start screen, type “Control Panel” and hit Enter. Select the “Uninstall a program” option under the “Programs” section. Choose “Dropbox” from the list of choices presented in front of you to complete the uninstallation process in minutes.
You won’t lose access to any of your files and folders stored in Dropbox if you downgrade to a Basic account. However, you’ll be limited to 2 GB of storage space. If your Basic account’s storage capacity is exceeded, Dropbox will cease synchronizing files to your devices.
