- Select your settings Accounts > Email & accounts.
- Under Accounts used by email, calendar, and contacts.
- Select the account you want to remove and then select Manage.
- Select Delete account from this device.

Removing a Microsoft account from your Android phone can be done by going to Applications and selecting Email under Accounts.
To add your account to your Android device, open Link to Windows by going into the Quick Access panel and then tap and hold on to the Link to Windows icon. Give Microsoft account permission before following instructions for either opening a Microsoft account or remove an existing one.
Select File from the upper left corner of the Outlook window. Select Account Settings > Account Settings from the drop-down menu. Select your preferred account and then Remove to remove it. You’ll be informed that all offline saved material for this account will be erased as a result of this action.
Open the guide by pressing the Xbox button. Go to Settings > Account, select Profile & system, then Accounts, and finally Remove accounts. Select Remove to finalize your selection.
If you’re on a live subscription, it will prevent you from permanently terminating your account. Hotmail, Windows Live, and Outlook.com accounts are not classified as “Microsoft Accounts.” You can’t just shut down the Hotmail account; instead, you must also terminate the entire Windows Live (Microsoft Account) account.
Do not be concerned if you can’t remove or delete an account you’re presently logged in to. To remove your account, log in from another admin account. You may also switch to a local account by going to Settings > Accounts > Your info > clicking Sign in using a local account instead of Microsoft account.
