You can’t delete your Origin account on your own. You are going to have to contact an EA Game Advisor and make the request. Sign in to your Origin account and click the “Chat Now” button under the star next to Help at the bottom left of page.
How to Delete EA Origin Account
There are a few types of accounts that you can delete. The most common type is your origin account and the easiest way to do this is through Origin’s website. You need an account with the same email address as your origin account for this process, but it does not have to be an EA Account. Once logged in on Origin’s site, go to “My games & apps > Settings > Manage Accounts” and scroll down until you find the game or app where you want to remove your old identity from (in our example we will use Battlefield). Next click on Edit next to any gamertag listed under Legacy Name; then select Change Username by clicking on Choose another username button below Select Setting Type:

Next, enter a username for your legacy account and click Submit. This will take you back to the page where there are two options: Add One or More Accounts under Legacy Name and Change Username Again below it. Choose Add one or more accounts if you want to add another account as your new legacy name; then follow the steps that we walked through previously again with any other email address (you may need to repeat these steps several times). Once done, choose Change Username again underneath it so that all future games and apps will be logged into using this gamertag instead of the old one-or both!
If you don’t want multiple EA Account names associated with your account, then don’t choose Add one or more accounts and instead click on Change Username again.
If you want to change the name of this gamertag from “Your Original Legacy Name” to something else- do the same thing! Just be sure before clicking it that there’s a new email address associated with your EA Account just in case we need to contact you about anything.”

If you are planning to change the name of your gamertag, choose Change Username Again. Just as before, enter in a new username and verify with an email address that is not already associated with any accounts on your Xbox One or PlayStation system. We recommend something simple like “YourNewName.” The important thing here is that when we send out emails later for anything related to this project- such as if you need help resetting a password- they will go to both the old account and the new one so there’s no confusion about who sent them!
Once you have confirmed your information click Submit Request at the bottom of the screen. If everything looks good, EA Support should respond within 24 hours ( Monday-Friday) with the email address to use for this account.
