- mount -uw / ( fsck -fy is not needed)
- rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone.
- Reboot.
- Go through the steps of creating a new account.
- Logging in to the new account.
- Go to the Users & Groups preference pane.
- Select the old account.
- press the Reset Password.
