How to Delete All Tweets at Once on Twitter – Delete All Twitter Tweets
Go to the website of your Twitter tool. Authorize it to access your account and select a selection of tweets to delete. Confirm that you’re deleting everything or just selected tweets before confirming the deletion is complete! You can’t go back on this action. Your tweet has been deleted!
To export your tweets for preservation, simply log into your Twitter account settings and select the “Your data” tab. There is a button that will automatically generate links to download all of your past Tweets. Once you have preserved your tweets from before the purge, go to the next step by deleting them.
To delete Tweets from your timeline, tap edit and select all the tweets you wish to delete. You can also type multiple consecutive hashtags to delete a series of messages at once (e.g., #flood.) Although Tweet Cleaner allows you to delete your displayed Tweets, it’s worth mentioning that Google may still save some (depending on how often you use Gmail).
The date you would like to search for will show up in the grid power search on the right. If you want to delete any tweets, just select them and then click on Delete Selected.
Deleted Tweets are maintained in a separate section from the rest of your timeline, called the pending trash . There they remain for 30 days before eventually being discarded to save space on Twitter’s servers. All this time you can undo the action and restore them if you change your mind. You can also see which ones you’re currently restoring by viewing your Account Settings page: Settings > Privacy and safety > Delete Tweets .
If you’re still unsure, but really want to delete a lot of Tweets, why don’t you use our bulk editing tool ? It lets you mass-delete your tweets one by one as opposed to the clear all option where we handle deleting them en masse. Remember: once something is deleted from Twitter there’s no getting it back so make sure that anything you decide to remove has been backed up somewhere else first. We hope this update helps clear any confusion around how the clear all feature works. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions via @Support on Twitter.
You can unlink your Twitter account by going to “Data and permissions” in your account settings, then clicking “Your Twitter data.” After re-entering your password, you’ll be sent to a page where you may download your Twitter data. It’s time to start deleting now that you’ve got your previous tweets for posterity.
