Yes, you can uninstall origin and still play Sims 4. If you try to launch the game without origin it will download an update so if you don’t plan on playing for a while I would recommend pausing updates in origin. It might be a good idea to backup your documents folder just in case something goes wrong. Another thing to remember is that if you do delete origin, your game will run in offline mode which means you can’t access online Sims 4 content with that account. If you already own all the packs then there’s no reason to keep origin on your computer so it doesn’t hurt to back up documents before deleting. Note: I would uninstall origin through Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel, not by downloading the standalone offline installer. The reason being, the origin uninstaller won’t remove all your games that use origin. The installer only removes origin as a whole, which includes removing everything. If you also have Sims 3 installed, the standalone origin installer will not remove it.
